Purpose: to assess the effect of different mineral fertilizer (NPK) application schemes in combination with organic additives on the growth, development, and yield of the cotton variety “Khorazm-127” under irrigated alluvial soils in the Khorezm Region.

Materials and methods. Experiments were carried out in 2019–2021 on meadow-alluvial soils in Shovot District. Five fertilizer treatments were tested: an unfertilized control, N₁₅₀P₁₅₀K₁₅₀, N₂₀₀P₁₅₀K₁₀₀, and N₂₅₀P₁₇₅K₁₂₅ complexes with the addition of 25 t/ha of manure in the first year, as well as a treatment with organic fertilizer alone. Observations included plant height, number of leaves, lateral branches and bolls, as well as yield.

Results. The highest indicators were obtained under the N₂₀₀P₁₅₀K₁₀₀ + 25 t/ha manure treatment: plant height, the number of lateral branches, boll formation, and the accumulation of dry matter in leaves, stems, and bolls were at their maximum. The average yield in this variant was 33,76 centners per hectare, which is 46,6 % higher than the control. The other variants also provided an increase in yield, but were less effective. The lowest yield increase was obtained with a one-time application of 25 t/ha of manure – 5.9 c/ha.

Conclusions. The integrated use of mineral fertilizers and organic matter improves cotton nutrition, increasing both its productivity and biomass. The obtained results confirm the advisability of applying N₂₀₀P₁₅₀K₁₀₀ + 25 t/ha manure scheme in the first year of cultivation to ensure stable high cotton yields under irrigated alluvial soil conditions.
