Purpose: to analyze information on the composition and technical condition of the Dzerzhinsk reclamation system structures, which is under the operational management of the Federal State Budgetary Institution “Department of Land Reclamation and Agricultural Water Supply in the Republic of Dagestan”.

Materials and methods. The analyzed information was obtained during the implementation of practical and applied tasks of the scientific theme: “Expert assessment of the planning of maintenance work on reclamation systems” in accordance with the requirements of the “Methodology for a comprehensive survey of the technical condition of state reclamation systems in order to determine the procedure for their repair, restoration and reconstruction”. The research was carried out using the method of systematic, comprehensive study, comparison, analysis and data integration.

Results. According to the data obtained during the survey of the Dzerzhinsk reclamation system, about 700 water outlets, more than 200 crossings, more than 200 headgates, more than 150 bridges, as well as aqueducts, water intakes, waterworks, hydrometric bridges and pipe crossings were actually identified. Of the 54 canals and 27 collectors surveyed in the system, 67 facilities, despite their long service life, are in a limited operational condition, 12 structures are operational, and 2 canals are in the critical (emergency) technical condition zone.

Conclusions. The functioning of the system surveyed is crucial for the region's agricultural sector, as many farms using reclamation technologies lack alternative options for transporting water resources in the required volumes. The overall technical condition of the reclamation system under consideration can be assessed as limited operational. Water supply is stable, but its volumes are limited by reduced levels in some areas.
