CURRENT STATUS AND MAIN TASKS FOR UPDATING REGULATORY PROVISIONS IN THE FIELD OF DESIGNING DRAINAGE ON IRRIGATED LANDS
- The role of land reclamation and water management in ensuring the sustainable development of agriculture
Purpose: to analyze data on the composition and technical state of the Petrovsko-Anastasievskaya, Maryano-Cheburgolskaya and Kuban reclamation systems structures.
Materials and methods. The analyzed information was obtained during comprehensive surveys of the technical condition of buildings and structures of the reclamation systems in accordance with the requirements of the “Methodology for a comprehensive survey of the technical condition of state reclamation systems in order to determine the procedure for their repair, restoration and reconstruction”. The study used the methods of multifaceted analysis, comparison and synthesis of the obtained data.
Results. During 2025, the hydraulic structures of federal ownership, which are located in the Petrovsko-Anastasievskaya, Maryano-Cheburgolskaya and Kuban reclamation systems, were surveyed. The total length of the surveyed objects was more than 800 km. The total number of canals, collectors and pumping stations was almost 140 units. A comprehensive visual inspection determined the technical condition of nearly 500 hydraulic structures located on the canals and collectors of the above-mentioned reclamation systems.
Conclusions. Fish-diverting hydraulic structures can occasionally be used as water passages, so their technical condition, like other structures, must be maintained in good operable condition. If the canals of these systems require intensive operation, the probability of an accident increases dramatically, as most of them are in a limited operational state.
